Sky Rogue mods are relatively low poly, so it takes decent modelers around 6-10 solid work hours to model and UV. Final .json tweaks 3-5 hours. And modeling low polys are really fun

Oh, that's quite alright. I was just curious as to what kind of effort people put in for this, and the answer is "a lot. Not a ridiculous amount, but this is a labor of love that takes more than five minutes to do."

Very interesting to learn about. Thanks again for doing the TR-6!

This took about 2 weeks to make in total in comparison to 1 week for the Kämpfer, progress really slowed down the further I got. I meant to take a little break after this, so I don't have anything planned for the near future.

By the way, I was curious... how long does it take to make things like this? Am hoping to see other units from the Zeta era like Rick Dias and Hyaku Shiki show up some day.

@Microsoft Word, This model has 12,108 polys, 21,949 tris and 11,636 verts.
In comparison, the Kämpfer model has 18,621 polys and 41,391(?!) tris.
It's because of the design having a LOT of round, bending shapes and using boolean in 3ds max typically creates a ton of extremely small edges, which turn into even more tris.
The cutoff point for me where you have to divide the model into different .objs was around 15k polys iirc.
