I respect and thank every mod creator, but I have to admit that after 9 years, the simplest and most effective mods in terms of light and shadow effects are still those from 8 years ago.
this 4 mods combination still cannot be replaced, such as' Render It! ',' Lumina ', and' Relight '. Although these complex mods are more flexible and free, they require patience to adjust the values. Most players just want to achieve a simple and beautiful light and shadow effect.
What I most want to adjust is the part of the building that faces away from the light. The latest Mod [Natural Lighting] can replace [Daylight Classic], but still cannot fully replace [Softer Shadows]
This mod is just an addition to make the shadows a little bit brighter.
This mod is just what I needed!
(and trying with other color settings like Theme Mixer 2, Relight.)
And, I find my comments on February 6, the link-picture is totally wrong and unnecessary.
Because the “Relight mod” description said “Definite conflict” with “Softer Shadows”.
Therefore my picture (February 6) is wrong, Softer Shadows did not work in my picture. I’m so stupid that’s my fault.
Please ignore my comment on February 6. Sorry I wasted your time.
In order not to cause misunderstanding, I will delete my comment of February 6.
I think you could probably get the look you want by increasing the global illumination and reducing the sunlight strength. The ultimate eyecandy mod might have a setting for that.
The shadows on the buildings itself are not changed by that adjuster mod. It can be changed by your mod. However, I need less dark shadows on the building itself.
I'm satisfied with that sort of shadows adjusted by "shadow strength adjuster". I hope your mod have a slider as well.
However, I also use Relight. My asset compatibility report says that "Relight" is incompatible with this mod. I have been using them both actually in my games and have had no problems at all. They both work side by side. So I am wondering why this "incompatibility report" shows up? Can you please let me know?
Is it adjustable or not? Is there any menu, GUI or adjuster?
Of course i can suupose that it works witout any user menu or gui, but... i don't see any significant effect anyway. Shadow from sun opposed side are totally black. I have last actual verison 1.12.3.
Please advise
If the game lags, try to set your graphic settings to minimum.
