In future versions I will update the name and add a suicide pill that CANNOT be removed from the player inventory (a bit like the Hunter's Hat skin). This means that if a player has the forsight to craft the suicide potion and place it on their hotbar then they can die at a time of their choosing, whether they are handcuffed or not.

I'm very busy with a couple of other projects though so I cannot promise how soon that update will be made. Please keep other ideas coming too as I will incorporate the good ones

@thescaryone - That does not make any sense at all, and to say "no one will join a server with this mod" is a gross exaggeration. A suicide pill is an *ok* idea but that is more for you "game players Call of Duty Ark types"; whereas on a RP server, these cuffs offer a great opportunity for RP, capture / escape RP, prison RP, and more.

At this point, any mod that adds modified handcuffs also needs to do what Wildcard won't and add in a suicide pill. No one will join a server that has these handcuffs on it, when joining an official with no mods gets you tranq'd, caged, and cuffed within minutes.

@Sleepy - Handcuffs Plus is great. These cuffs actually REMOVE an immersion and RP breaking game mechanic: The need to bash someone over the head until out cold so you can force feed them to stay alive. These cuffs help you maintain an immersive and RP experience. People say these can be used to Troll, but when I say: What about "FlyerCarry", no one says a word in reply. I think this is a great mod that hopefully leads to more people making mods that promote a "Capture / Escape / Prison / Slavery" style of experience. Great job.

@briana thanks for the feedback! I designed these to try and make a fairly overpowered mechanic (the handcuffs) even more overpowered. It is a shame the name is scaring people off, but from what you've said I can appreciate why. Do you have suggestions for a better name? Maybe something simple like Handcuffs Plus would be better?

@SleepyLloydy - I wish you had named these differently because people are literally thinking these are a troll tool and have no place in ark - and I see these as a great addition that bypasses the limitations of a hard game mechanic (having to knock someone out to force ffeed them to keep them alive)).

I just wish the name was different. Would have saved 2 hours of my life wasted arguing the pro's of this to those were only stuck on the idea of griefing/trolling.

@FreshLEGACY: There kind of already are dino cuffs - they're called bear traps! Maybe I should make some trollolol bear traps

you should also add cuffs for dinos ! so u can imobilize them before a raid like u can jump in quickly right click on the dino with the cuff in your hot bar slot and then it cuffs the dino so it can not move or attack witch means u dont have to kill the dinos when raiding witch means a less douchbaggy aproach to raiding instead of adding salt to the woonds by killing there dinos

Hey guys! This is the initial release. I'm still working through a couple of minor bugs but I wanted to share it with you so I can get some feedback. You will need a friend online that you can test these on, please be gentle with them

I'm aware that the sound played by the handcuffs doesn't start until the player wakes up. I'm also aware that the sound doesn't always play in 3rd person view. I would be keen to add more handcuffs into this mod, I've already had a suggestion of Gangster Handcuffs that add boosted movement speed and the El Chapo Jr song... What do you think?

I think you should add Gangsta Handcuffs playing some sweet hyped up music ;)
