Just a quick question, could you PLEASE respond and let us all know if this works. Not really fair to have a cool concept and not know if we can use it. Makes us "drool" with anticipation. LOL

I just found this MOD. After about 3 years, does it still work? Very eager to try, but don't want to crash.

This is pretty cool, very extensive and it has some interesting concepts in it. I like your road and fast travel idea, I haven't seen that done before. My only major complaint/ suggestion for improvement would be your textures. Your slate looks like you took a metal wall and painted it to look like fake, overly colorized stone. It's flat and unrealistic. Also, the textures of the round/rough pillars looks squashed.

There's something off about the size or snap points of the slate, as well. There's distinct gaps between walls.

Not especially, I think you can rate a mod. I don't know what else to do, I don't want to shove it in peoples faces.

Is there a way other than word of mouth to advertise a mod? I'm wanting to attract more people here, because thos mod really is awesome, and could lighten peoples load orders significantly

Making the spheres is an interesting thought, but, Im not a modder so really wouldnt know, Id think it would be kind of hard to make everyone happy. I mean some would want a door on one side others through the top or the bottom and you wouldnt be able to change the door location. Unless the plan was to make several different spheres of each size with entrance/exit points in different locations and made of several materials. Thats alota balls. Maybe a premade sphere like EG mentions, but with openings on all sides that have snap points so you could put in whatever you wanted, whether it be a door, wall or window. Again though Im not a modder so I have no idea how difficult of a feat that is.

Maybe the solution is to make the spheres/balls themselves. 3 sizes, small,medium, large. One of its sides would have the snap to fit on a wall at the top of a tower.

That would be cool, Im patient...somewhat..kind of...ok not at all. jk looking forward to a second go at it.

I may try to make one at somepoint that uses a new snap point, but it will be a while before I can do that

unfortunately I tried this, it produces a major problem for snap points.

Im using your mod atm and was wondering if it would be possible to introduce the inverted slanted wall, possibly in several material types. Trying to make a tower with a ball at the top (ceiling-inverted slanted wall-wall-slanted wall-ceiling), corners are a bit of a pain and I can only make a half sphere atm. Ive only been able to find the inverted walls in one other mod but they only have them for the wood tier.

I need to adjust the safe. Some of the items are meant as admin only. I will look into the wall safe and I plan to make it larger, I made it a little small

Hey, not all of the pieces have blueprints in the bench, and the wall safe won't open, only lock and unlock. Lastly, just so I can be sure, is the safe supposed to be the size of a pack of playing cards?

No they do not have snap points as they are meant to be an outer wall and not part of an entire building. Also adding to many snap points would cause issues with placement.

Been giving this mod a try and so far loving it, so much easier to build with this, especially with things like pillars lining up right.

Are the behemoth walls not supposed to have snap points? Was looking to do something with the stairwell, but noticed I couldn't snap anything to it's top or to the walls.

Sorry to keep doing this, but mod authors usually like bugs lol THe crystals hurt fps bad, as in, every crystal we took off the wall/ground, gave about 5 fps back to us

Oh, and we love the crystals!! Only issue is it doesn't show up right for some clients. Like, one guy was changing colors and saw the light, but I saw only the default greems, and the faint color of a green pattern, no light coming off it. Same with a few others, like half can see, half cant. I can't even change the colors lol

Well, considering I didn't see this mod until like, right around the time they selected, I'd imagine not enough people saw it to get it popular. Keep at it man, a few other mods have had to keep working at it to be in the next contest because their mod was too early for the contest. I certainly have been telling others about this mod!

Ah, ok. I would hope so, since you have it in the contest and people are startting to use it to replace multiple other build mods.

lol I am making this for a sub server. So they are for the admins. I will be updating this soon, this has actually become our test version. Rebuild type force nation is the main mod. This one will still be seeing updates

Metal water well does the same thing, doesn't even show up to be placed. Also, what are those pillars for? The crunk one...etc... They're little tiny busts that say there is no building here. What are they for? lol

Ok, ty man. The foundation stone (Large) worked for me, awesome man. I like its design too. Wish the text of the name could be larger but I understand that's likely how it is to fit a multitude of name lengths in :)

Yea, didn't test them all, but wooden walls, windowframes, and windows did the same thing

Bug: Made the wooden walls and nothing shows up, I press the button and no outline shows up for me to place it.

Ok, so for the ones it isn't working for, it just breaks like regular stone? Maybe until the issue is figured out, the Foundation Stone could be given an absurd amount of HP, so that for those encounering the bug, it still is very unlikely to get destroyed. Just a thought to maybe help you out :)

@St4bm3n0w: Completely understandable, I just hope it is an easy to throw in solution, as a few mods have it implemented already. As for the Foundation Stone, what seems to be the common factor in them not working? I ask so I know if I might have that issue or not once I install this

I do not know about the auto door as I have not done that. As to the Foundation stone, I am trying to get it working 100%. It seems to work fine for some, but not for others. I can look into the auto doors, but I make this mod for a sub server so I have other things I have to work on.

@St4bm3n0w: My server is looking to use yours to replace a few of our mods. 2 questions. #1 The foundation stone thing, is it good to use for making an arena or community center so that it can't be damaged? #2 Is it possible to PLEEEASSEE add in an auto close function for any doors you have/will have? That would allow us to get rid of Extra Ark Doors and improve our performance. 10 secs for large doors, 5 for small doors, adjustable. I hope you like the idea :)

love the mod, great job, if it's not a lot to ask...can you make a glass dino and jumbo gate ....I love the slate look but maaaaannnnn it would look killer with a glass gate.....your glass stuff is so clear....I like the other glass mods but some have a greeny tinge to them....

Outer corner Roof peices for all Base Materials - The left one gets mislabeled in inventory as a right one but fixes itself once placed, however the left one does not line up correctly. It sticks off of foundations and gets overlapped by the right one.

Sloped walls can now be placed under ceilings. - These don't line up correctly, it leaves a gap between both edges.

Your Fence foundation does not lay correctly, it lays verticaly instead of horizonaly, and once its placed, you cannot remove it.

"Crafting Inventory buildings with locking. (ie. Smithy, Campfire ...)" What's the purpose of this when it can be enabled server side for the vanilla objects?
