I have the model and I have the materials now but may I ask how you actually add the new materials to the model? I just keep seeing the old broken ones

No, when you transfer a model on other model it will attach all the bones that are needed

Dud, you're just more reliable attaching each bone.

You don't need to attach each bone one by one you can just transfer the name of heavy onto the sweater and just slide zero

Look up Tough Break Cosmetics, and then find dec15_heavy_sweater.mdl, attach the bones from the heavy model onto each matching bone, then zero it out (zeroing is in procedural) from there, and BOOM! custom cosmetic.. :D
