3/Aug/2025, still working as intended in Vanilla.

With WOTC this mod causes the game to crash whenever I try to view any soldier.

When customizing soldiers in WOTC (War of the Chosen) this mod WILL crash your game to desktop guaranteed. It took a long time to narrow down the CTD and it was this mod when ran by itself only. When outfitting your soldiers before the Avenger takes off for a mission if you remove any soldier and try and replace them with the same or a different soldier this mod will crash your game with ntdll.dll and kernalbase.dll Windows events. These are extremely low level crucial DLL's to make the OS run.

IF my OS was not 64-bit this mod would crash my entire OS out the door. DO NOT USE THIS MOD IF YOU RUN WOTC! This is a base game mod only!

@Zinic If you're still looking, the option seems to have been moved to the config file. You can find it in steamapps\workshop\content\268500\638033313\Config\XComShowMeThePersonnel.ini

Not compatible with long war, nor WOTC, just base game.

@macelharen: I'm not running Community Highlander, just LW2. Worked fine in 1.4, completely crashed in 1.5. Sigh.. I really like this mod, too. :(

Yep. LW2 1.5 bombed fast and hard with this mod. This is the only mod in my build that did.

oh shit the xcommunity highlander JUST got updated

toolbox and xcommunity highlander. i've tried deleting config folder, then tried resubbing to this mod.

Long War 2 v1.5 change log:
- Added the defense stat to the soldier armory header. Removed hack stat for PsiOps to handle overflow of more than 8 stats limitation in the UI.

Latest Community Highlander change log:
Show Defense stat on UISoldierHeader, hiding hack stat for PsiOps to prevent overflow. (#280)

As of LW2 version 1.5, this mod is no longer compatible with it.

In XCOM 2's Steam Workshop folder are subfolders. Those subfolders are all named with your mod's unique IDs. To get a mod's unique ID look at its Workshop page URL.

I like this but I was looking for something like Long War , wouldnt it possibile to show those stats at glance instead of having to hover? Also the screen flash black when openin the popup

Are there any plans to update this to be ocmpatible with LW2? Love the mod, but unfortunately there or some some issues with LW2 I believe.

@All: my (semi) mistake ;) The .XComMod file is named ShowMeThePersonel BUT the mod folder itself was named ShowMeThePersoNnel ... and that's was the name I used to add it to the DefaultModOptions.ini ... I just removed the extra N and now it works ! :)

BTW: is it possible to hover up the soldier's info panel (to have a tooltip showing each ability description) or not ? When I move my mouse, the soldier's info just close.

Does not work for me :/ I installed the latest version (not from Steam but from Skymods, same way that I also use Nexus because they have much more mods than here) so the mod is well in the /mod directory, and also added in the .ini file (like I did for all the other mods I use and are working fine) but no panel showing, even in vertical (I tryied that in the .ini options file)

I'm playing in French, on PC, with all the DLCs, and "vanilla" (meaning not in LW2) ... any clue ?

this mod sounds great. would like to try it with LW2. one thing i really miss (from EU/EW/LW1) is that experience bar for each soldier.

One should note that this mod is perfectly compatible with XBOX Controller once the UI is set to VERTICAL in the .ini file :-)
I'm quite happy as it didn't work properly when in Horizontal mode, thus forcing me to disable the mod to be able to select soldiers for missions.

Hey, don't know if you're still doing modding work, but it would be fantastic to have this mod of yours fully LW 2. I've noticed that AWC perks added by LW 2 may not show up corrrectly.

It would be even better if you could seperate the soldier abilities and AWC perks, by adding an additional line to the left-to-right panel and an additional column to the top-down panel. Because in LW 2 you have to click "AWC abiltities" to actually veiw them, instead of reading them directly on the soldier information interface.

But take your time! Even though this mod is not perfect in its current state, it is already a must-have for LW 2.

theres a way to put this in the way that LW did for EW ?
