After testing hand redrawing the textures and applying them to the current models, however, I've found that it can pass as being a higher quality, so the next update will be redrawn textures.
For the time being, meshes will be pushed to post 1.0, with any 'new' heads being modified versions of the current PS2 models.
(but good job, not my cup of tea those faces and hair SD style, but still a good job from artist point of view)
In addition, the face models are gender dependent and use face morphs, meaning that I would have to create a new gender for each face model, assuming I couldn't just make a universal mesh for all three faces.
It's definately on the roadmap though, as I'm certain that between now and next year face/hair mods will come out in full swing.
