i'd recommend making a kill box at the vortex between the ships so when you fall into it you don't just hit an invisible floor awkwardly

It wouldn't work without ships. They would be no place to stand. And you can't spawn in your own ships because they wouldn't float on the surface properly.

Never played it. This map is mostly inspired by the maelstrom scene in Pirates of the Caribbean III.

It works on that map too,btw,the 2 maps I used to test was stormy titan from the airplane map pack and dm_cloudcity,I die on both of them like I'm supposed to

No problem,it's probably gmod,I have no addon that disables things like triggers so I don't know what else it could be,I'll test it on one more map later and tell you if it works there

Maybe it's Gmod itself that disables the triggers by deault then. Good to know there's a workaround. Thanks for the info.
