Hay um sorry to ask. do you happen to take request's? if not i understand. there is a camo i would like to see in game but i do not know any thing about making skins. if i can find that camo skin i saw could you make it ? i mean if you can.

They are also a bane to players like me who value immersion. The reason I don't play ranked games. Considering people were complanining about team colored decals since the first game, Relic's communication with its community is notable.

The team colour decals are a bane to historic skin modders. We have attempted to persuade Relic to drop them, or at least to have an option to disable them. At this time, it seems that there is very little will to change the status quo.

Thanks for the answer. Let's not forget blood soaked tanks are allowed with mottos about how people got gloriously crushed by them. If people don't get offended by those they have no right to get offended by pink tanks. For your info pink actually got used as camo, although not for tanks, while no commander ever soaked their company in blood unless we are in Warhammer 40000 universe right now. Relic placed two convenient options regarding such sensitivities as well. Finally I no longer have to see the red equal of "pink tank" stereotype.

My real problem is not with the skins, as I think most of the official ones are beautiful, but with the horrible team color and decal system.

Good explanation, though I was more interested in why this one is specifically recommended by Relic. I guess they are all the same by design.

@ViperCanel: custom skins and custom decals are not supported for ranked matches because someone would inevitably use it to spawn pink tanks painted with a rude body part. Unfortunately, it doesn't even look like there is support for them in ToW solo missions.

This decal remover scrubs all decals for all factions. The decals are not individual to a vehicle, as they are taken from one source file per faction. A decal remover pack simply replaces these with blank files, so nothing else is added to any vehicle in the faction.

Does it work on newer units like Hetzer? I use another one and wonder if there is any difference between so many decal removers, especially considering this one is recommended by Relic.

Also do you know if decal removers and custom skins still don't work in ranked matches? I can try it myself, but if I join a match and figure out they don't work it will break my whole mood for the duration of the match.

This is the decal remover I use (recommended by Relic). This wil remove the default blue decals when placed in the decal slot.

This package has skins for all Soviet vehicles. You need to add each skin set (light, medium, heavy) to your load-out manually, both for summer and winter. You will also need a decal remover to disable the default decals.

i only have it for medium tanks help plz

I would like to see the default Wehrmacht skin with realistic decals but I don't own Photoshop, and process sounds hard. I think if I ever do texturing at least I can ask you or Starbuck.

I added some notes on the paints and camouflage patterns I have reproduced in this set. There are existing lighting effects, dirt, scratches, rust and various other sorts of breakdown in the texture files themselves which make each coat of paint vary quite a lot from the "ideal". The in-game lighting adds to that - time of day and in-game weather can alter colours dramatically..

I know ghost , monocroms sometimes are better than cammo, but there is a fact that the majority want to see cammo paterns no matter if they are pink or red ;), anyway you are making historical accurate skins thats is something remarkeble in my eyes are 100% correct, since you make research , adjusting colors and be acurate.But that is a point that interesting some of us not majority, as I said for me are remarkeble and accurate work , welcome to the buffs club :).

Getting the right green was by far the hardest part of this project. After matching all vehicles to the reference swatch, they had to be re-coloured a second time or a third time to colour-match each other. A flat tone shows irregularities much more readily than camouflage.
