i can't get this, and many other, voice pack to work now.

Hey guys, its been a very long time since i've checked back here. Is this still working alright for ya'll?

@Bixran You can copy the mod config files from non-WOTC voice packs and paste it into your WOTC mod config file to force it to load anyway. It will yell at you about using non-WOTC mods in WOTC, but nothing will break. Go to your library -> XCOM2 -> Properties -> Browse Local Files -> XCOMGAME -> Config -> DefaultModOptions.

Yeah same most mods now do not work for WOTC, which really stinks.

Anyone else have the recent launcher update mess up this voice pack? my game refuses to accept that i have the voice pack activated anymore

Yeah, the guitar riff one is a bit long and honestly, kind of annoying. Still, great work.

Its nearly perfect, but the guitar riff line plays for so long it keeps going when Im two other soldiers in for turns.

any chance this has been updated to have a radio static filter?

@ Erinaceus; Glad to hear that is working. I tried to design it to behave like the vanilla voices did so it would feel more natural. Its been a super long time since I made this but I feel as though I recall it being a 75 or 80% chance of a response. Theres also a 60% chance that those figures originated from my ass and have no business walking about in the world. 40% of the time, it'll work every time.

I just got WOTC and so far this voice pack still works just fine. Knowing me, a few hours intot he game i'll start having eveeryone with this voice and that'll snowball into me trying to find new material to put into it.

I thought it had been forgotten; boy am I wrong lol. Thanks for the kind words everyone, I really put an absurd amount of time into this. Every single clip has been edited in audacity to my OCD whims.

Scooter voicepack please!!!!

Good volume. Doesn't ALWAYS say something, which is nice compared to some voicepacks where some lines are only vaguely relevant or you hear the same ones 3 times every deployment. 100% bacon torgue.

This one and the Borderlands Psycho one are perhaps the best voice packs around. The volume level is perfect, unlike a few of the mass effect ones. Also the insanity is just hilarious.

One of the, maybe THE best VoicePack available for Xcom2. Can't live without this one. XCom2 needs more of these.

I wish the THIS IS GONNA BE SICK!! line when throwing a grenade was a little more frequent, because it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cracks me up.

But seriously though, huge kudos for this mod. I went totaally hogwild with voice packs for my current playthrough, and this one is one of my favourites. Fits perfectly well together with the other glorious lunatics on my team.

I needed a lunatics voice in my guerilla army... couldnt understand why they were all perfectly drilled soldiers that obey on demand. This is perfect !

@Lord Jebus and lasthidingplace: Thank you guys that really means a lot to me, I put a lot of time and effort into this i'm i'm glad you get as much enjoyment out of hearing his insanity as I do. I haven't played in a while but when I think of this game, I think of a granadier doing a mouth guitar solo before he screams "GRATS MOTHERF**KER" as an incindiary grenade smashes into some muton's face.

Listening to Mr Flexington make explosion sounds whilst launching incendiary grenades into a building full of civilians will always be a highlight of my time playing this game. Thank you for that memory.

Ironically, the night I posted this "suggestion" I heard loads of lines I had never heard before (and I've been using Torgue for a while now).

But seriously; I can 100% endorse this voicepack, and is my favourite alongside the Sterling Archer one that I also use. Anything you add going forward is only going to increase it's awesomeness, but even if it stays exactly as it is it's still a 10/10!

@Lasthidingplace Thank you! So gearbox released all torgues lines up to the DLC's (but not including them unfortunately so no "punch him so hard he explodes") in a big zip so the lines that are in right now I had to chop using audacity from that file. It really limits the relevant lines that are usable. I still plan on adding a little bit to it on common stuff like overwatch especially but my first priority is getting out a preview so people can hear what its like before subbing.

One of my favourite voice packs; Torgue is just the best character in Borderlands. Really appreciate the time and effort put into this.

The quality of the sound files are very high; no excess music or other sound effects; just the clean sounds of pure-filth coming from Torgue him-fu**ing-self.

The only thing I could suggest is putting EVEN MORE Torgue into the pack. The one line I hear the most is when you are moving him, about "kissin' in the rain 'n sh*t" - I like it, but a few more lines on some of the most "common" actions would be hugely appreciated.

But, even without that (because it's a MOD, it's free, and you've already bunged loads of time into it), absolutely fantastic work!!!

Now that people have had the voice for a while, anyone have any feedback as i'm returning to Xcom 2 and have some time to play with the mod a bit. Otherwise i'm just gonna start working on making a preview vid that needs so badly.

If someone would like to help me make a video i'd be up for it but otherwise I can't see me having the time to do it at the moment. Once the 3rd DLC comes out I'll probably look into it more seriously. As for the quality i'll just say that I'm a guy who appreciates immersion and I went through a lot of trouble to try and make the voicepack sound as though it were simply another vanilla voice choice instead of a mod full of random voice clips with weird and unrelated background noise. Thanks again for the kind words everyone.

Sadly, no. But i use it, and it is voice mod well done.

Unit response % is something that is configurable in the base game. The game, completely vanilla, won't have the unit comment every time. Its been a while since i've spelunked in my config files but I believe it to be somewhere around 60% of the time.

sometimes when dashing or going overwatch i hear no sounds at all...

I'm going to try to make one soon, i have so many voice combos the process is pretty time consuming.
