Please take the cube in a large room, put it on the button there, and go to the room with the gel and the first ball.

yeah, a lot of walking. and some antlines are needed to show what the switches connect to.

I agree, the last chamber with the 2 turrets and the companion cube can be skipped by making a momentum leap to the exit.

The last cube seems unnecessary -- you don't need to disable the last fizzler as you can make the leap while staying in the last small area.
