Great mod. I got tired of running around with a squad of ranking officers. Now I have my hero team

Wiith the Long War Perk Pack that 'Legendary' rank 8 is getting some work now. Nice bit of future-proofing!

Such an under-appreciated mod. It makes ranking up soldiers so much more enjoyable.

I love having this mod, because while I don't use it the way it is set up, it makes it easy to redo the ranks myself, so thank you very much for this :D

Thank you, just perfect in the gui.
The reduced rank name in some place leads to unexpected good results
especialy the bleusaille/bleu is delightfull

Updated as per a.fritz's translations under the French localization.

A french translation of yours woudl give (some linguist would complain)
Rookie = bleusaille
Squaddie = équipier
Regular (formerly Corporal) = pilier
Veteran (formerly Sergeant) = vétérant
Shocktrooper (formerly Lieutenant) = troupe de choc
Commando (formerly Captain) = commando
Elite (formerly Major) = élite
Hero (formerly Colonel) = héro
Legend (formerly Brigadier) = légende

The mod currently only changes the text for the international version. I can change the text for the French version as well, but looking at the files, everything is indeed in French. Did you want me to translate these terms? I'm not fluent in French at all, so it would be best if you could message me on Steam with proper translations. Unless you just want the text to be in English?

I'm playing a localized (french) version and I still got the crappy ones.
Missed something ?

Nice! Thanks man, it more fitting than vanilla.

Sounds really cool, the original was too confusing to me anyway to keep track of.

Perfect, thanks.

Just in case, there's a chance that Steam does not automatically remove the old files from a previous install, so you can delete the other classes yourself at: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\633460752\src\XComGame

Done! All other classes have been removed!

Cool change! Any chance we can get you to remove all of the other classes in the src folder of your mod that you didn't use? When you create a default mod they throw all of them in there. There is about 15mb of "stuff" that you probably didn't touch at all and I don't want potentially conflicting with later mods. Looks like you just changed the localization file to get this to work?
