Maybe chance to blue/ pink/ white flame ? I think It's might going well with the set more than regular yellow flame :D

We had our fingers crossed back in October or whenever we started this that by the time we were done, WW would be released and Valve would have the Reborn tools out and particles would be possible again...unfortunately that only partially came true. Which is why we have a version that doesn't rely on particles at all, just to be on the safe side.

The idea of the candles was a nod to her lore as a reader/writer who lives in a dark cave, but I can see why people might get confused. If implemented, it would have to be done pretty carefully, but I think it can totally work if it's done right.

Yeah, I have a feeling some people are weird and just wouldn't care, they think candles and don't know WW's personality as an avid reader and just think "flame = fire = not ice" and their brain shuts down.
It's too bad about the particles though :(

We'd like the candle flames to just look like they're casting light, not overpowering to look like a fire theme.

Oh, gotcha. Unfortunately in Reborn, we can't even mess around with particles at all, so that's just a crappy fx placeholder done in SFM using existing fire particles. I would like it to be custom-made and much more subtle as well, if the candle version were actually to happen. :p

"Fire theme" lol what does that even mean. It's probably because the flames on the candle are unusually strong. I feel like they should be much more subtle. It'd be nice if there was a particle effect added for the candles with a thin wisp of smoke streaking past as she flew. I prefer the candle theme, but I do think the flames are just a bit too "wild".

I dislike fire theme for Wyvern. Fire is already an overused theme for Dota heroes and Wyvern is Ice base. It's like a fire theme for CM... Makes no sense, at least in my opinion. Sorry,
