The pistons retract a few times, it's just when I pick up speed or FTL with them outside or try and land fighters.
THEN they break off.

No it's definitly the pistons breaking off, the fighters just enhance the effect. if you look at the ship in multiplayer you can already see the ship vibrating. As soon as you try to retract them they just break apart and the pods float away. this bug has been there since they first introduced the pistons. In singleplayer you notice it a bit less but's it's still there.

Yea. Whenever I land ships in the pods and THEN try and retract them, it explodes and breaks off. It could be something with the fighters.

I seriously hope they fix the pistons because that's the only reason I'm not working on this ship right now. In MP it just instantly breaks apart when you try to retract them
