Fixed it. it WAS Theme mixer lol it set to Revi 4k for some reason

Almost all textures show through (blend), so check them all if you're using Theme Mixer mod. Even though you think a texture shouldn't show through the rest, it can.

Well that's weird. The only thing I can think of is that would happen if you are using Theme Mixer and have one of the textures accidentally still set to a non-Snowfall designed texture.

So this is weird but map spawned with snowfall...but no snow?..

Do watch out though, some mods break save games, so be sure to make a backup save game and keep a list of all the mods you currently have , in case the save doesn't work when you take of the broken mods.

Yes, it is a mod conflict. I can't remember the combination :/ sorry about that, but I believe Prop Snapping conflicts with another mod, which is broken. At least I can help you overall. Hi there. With most maps, it is very easy for you or me to convert into a regular summertime version. This map was made before we had Snowfall, though. The problem is that the two trees have permanent snow on them. They have permanent snow because they were made also before Snowfall. There are some Rocky Mountains maps out there that are nice and very similar landscape. I will try to find a few and post in a few minutes with links so you two can take a look.

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know :) Textures overlay each other and bleed through, so if you had a non-winter texture like ruined, grass, gravel etc, then the color shows through (in your case green)

I have managed to fix the issue using Theme Mixer

Damn, I used to know what made that happen but it was a couple years ago that I helped someone fix that issue. I can't remember any more and searched but didn't find it in the forums. I'm sorry I forget, but it's something simple. So best thing is to try fiddling with a few things.
Some things I might check is if you're using Theme Mixer mod, turn it off and restart the game to see what happens.

I really like the map but one problem I am having is that fallen snow appears with a grass texture making it look like everything is covered in grass. Im not sue what could be casuing this?

That is so weird. Maybe something went wrong when I converted this one using that Environment changer mod that I described. It's possible! I'm glad the other one works for you (I think that's what you mean, right?)

Yeah, so this version seems broke to me but the original map has the snow, the winter theme isnt a option for some reason when I create the map. but on the original it auto selects the winter theme.

Oh, and maybe Theme Mixer mod might be doing something funny? Do you have that mod?

That's very strange. You've got the Snowfall DLC, right? That should be the only way you can open this map. If you are using Environment Changer mod, deactivate the mod, then restart the game entirely. sometimes people report seeing green grass in Snowfall maps while that mod is active, so that's the only thing I can think of. Again, you must restart the game completely when you turn Environment Changer off.

You won't see snow showers and there won't be snow on the roofs, but at least you'll get a nice snowy feeling in the highland areas

Hiya pah1195. Welcome to Cities and say goodbye to your social life :D A DLC, "Downloadable Content", is an optional extra package that came out later (after the game was published) which you can purchase to expand your game's functions.
For Cities, they get a lot of ideas from what we players create and share, they code and test it to make sure it works right, and then publish the optional paid DLC but with each DLC released Colossal Order also gives all of us free upgrades and content, too!
In this example, we used to have a mod by TPB that allowed us to make the landscape look snowy, but once Snowfall came out, the devs took the snow idea to a whole other level - dynamic snowshowers, automatic snow on all buildings, aurora borealis. Yup! As long as one of my maps doesn't require a special mod (there aren't many), then they will work just fine with Mass Transit. You just need the two special trees, on the right hand side of this page under required items, and that's all! :)

Hi MJReaper, nope, it's not you :) After a recent update of the base game, what used to not affect maps at all now does. So, you will probably run into this same error with a lot of maps that use custom trees. Luckily there is now a fix. I updated the description here with the instructions.
Now that we have this issue, I won't be making maps with any custom items at all (sadly), but these older maps will cause this problem to all of us, including me, without the special mod add on. Hope that helps!

Hiya. Yeah, a few of us are discovering a few weird things going on in the theme editor. Things don't quite work as they should, at least not yet. Plus, I barely know what I'm doing :D Shroomblaze is working on a theme similar in concept to this, it should be really beautiful. He actually knows what he's doing lol!

MrMiyagi, something strange is going on with the theme editor for me, I personally get it to save but when it loads onto a map it looks like a base map. I have no idea, must be a bug (and yes I'm saving under a different name, strange though because it cannot be deleted and if I try to delete it delete's your theme, not the one I saved.

Ah! I believe all you have to do is save it with a different name to make it all yours, otherwise you get an error I would like bluer water actually! If you take a screenshot with the color box open for both water under and water clean, I can estimate where you've moved it on the color scale and get pretty close. I can change this one and everyone will be updated with your choice of blue. I'm totally open to ideas! :) I just slapped this together.
