Hi, what will happen if I use this mod and moved a wormhole but turned it off afterwards since I'm not gonna be using it after it? Will it put the wormhole back?

I tried it out a while ago, and it worked like a charm!
Only problem I had was the wormhole icon replaced my characters for the diration of play.
Game updated so I lost the map, pity.
8/10 would warp again!

With that wormhole icon mod, after you change the wormholes' positions, the icons on the map does not move. I turn off that mod for now and plan to try it again after I move all the wormholes to the positions i want. Will report the result later~ :steamhappy:

@ Raybet probably? I'm not sure, but you can test it out by debug spawning a telelocator staff and trying it.

@V Are you sure you have the mod enabled? And what kind of server are you playing on (client-hosted or dedicated, hosted by you or someone else, with/without caves)?

Nope, I have a filled purple focus with all purple gems, Walked over to the worm hole and can even stand on top of it and I can't right click it while wielding the staff.

No idea how to use this, I have 3 purple gems in a focus but doesn't allow me to cast the spell.

@Abyss it doesn't delete the wormhole, and if it does, it's the game's bug, not because of this mod. Just go through the other side of the wormhole to see where the first side ended up.

Can you make it so if you forget to put the gems on the teleport base, it doesn't DELETE the wormholes?

Yeah the island is on the map, you travel to and from there via a bell. When I try to move the wormhole, it appears to just end up in a random spot.

@Cooper I don't know anything about the personal island mod. Can you see your island on the world map? And where does the wormhole end up if not on your island?

You know if this mod is compatible with Personal Islands mod? I tried to move a wormhole to my island for convenience, but even after double and triple checking my gem focus and everything, it won't move to the island. Might be something I did wrong, though, I can try again...

@dallium yes, and you will need to power the focus with 3 purple gems. Just look at the dont starve wiki

So to be clear, you set up a focus where you want to wormhole to move to, then use the staff on the wormhole. Is that correct?

@J.P. Telelocator staves and foci are part of the original game. All I did was enable using said staff on a wormhole, where before you could not.

J.P. Tele Staff and Foci are original DS/T items found under the magic tab after you build a Shadow manipulater, which you first need a Prestihatitator for... these items are all part of the original game. Though, yes, not sure how it works to move the wormhole

What you wrote as a description doesn't tell me how to make the staff or the focus, whether or not it takes a machine to make it and which one, how exactly moving the wormhole works, or anything if there are configs or how they work. It tells me nothing. I'd work on making better explinations.

I did. It says "Use a telelocator staff to move those wormholes!" and "Use a telelocator focus if you want to move them somewhere useful!"

That does not answer any of those questions I just asked you. Try being a little less rude before coming up with a response.

How does it work? Do you pick up the wormhole, it gets moved to your inventory, and you just click where you want to place it afterwards?
