Also, the one factor causing the issue, is the connector block.
If you can remove if from your ship, you can travel as fast as you want without issue.
So if you can't remove the connector block entirely, you should still be safe up to 200 m/s.
In game, at the main menu, select a world, and click edit. Then select mods.
You should then have a list of subsribed mods on the left.
Double click them individually to add them to the mods in the world.
