They are unlocked at start and advance like the normal weapons. Just research the next teir and baddabing.

Yes, as long as you don't play Online any mods are safe.

They only ban people if you try to play GTA Online with mods, otherwise than that, there are no problems :)

WOW, A-MA-ZING work my fried!! Where can i learn about the problems i have to look out while using the mods? I hear Rockstar´s ban people for using mods, and i wanted to check this in a secure font....

Hey Yard1PL, I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make these hyper realistic modern weapons for the game. I think it's hard working individuals like yourself that really make the modding community as a whole stand out for games like XCOM and well realistically the whole pc mastuh race in general. Thank you again for putting in the time to make some great mods, sad to see you gone from our niche of a community, in terms of content creation. I kinda gave up on XCOM. I think I burned out, really. Maybe in the future, I'll start modding this game again.

Its a shame you havent made any new mods in a while, these are among my favorites. When you do get back into it I know a lot of folks would be glad to see some new hardware for the feild of battle.

Hello there! I am currently working on a bigger weapons pack that adds additional research and weapon tiers, and i wanted to ask if i could use your weapons as Tier 1, ballistic weapons. The original ballistics weapons would become Gauss weapons then.
If i give you full credit and link to your collection, could i use your models? If i can't, thanks anyways.

hey yard, you know "Central's Rifle"? Do you know of a mod in existance that allows a person to obtain it *WITHOUT* the ugly green chrome that comes with it? and with an ini file that's easy to adjust the stats on like yours?

There is already a mod that adds HALO weapons. The AR, Sniper Rifle, and the DMR have all been added so far. They're working on adding a machinegun and the pistol last I seen. The mod requires a fresh game, but it has tiered versions so you can keep up with the vanilla weapons.

I'm getting the same thing.
The 416/IAR, 417, M249, and M1911 all have the jet black texture from what I've seen so far. The 416's stock has the correct texture strangely. lol

Alright, if i remember correctly, the G36 Rifle pack, the L115 Sniper, and Rorsch Mk-1 Railgun have the correct texture. Everything else has that jet black texture.

Sorry, but I've gonna unsubscribe for now. I'm getting jet black textures on most of the weapons in this collection (From the AK-12, to HK-416 and HK-417). It is very jarring to me. I'll resub when it is fixed. Again, I'm sorry.

Sturm, he's pretty much leaving it up to us to modify the INI files if we want to tier these weapons up, to make them on par with the others. But I doubt he's going to implement a system where we have options in game to upgrade these weapons similar to the Halo Reach mod. Mainly because that's a lot of extra work to do lol.

Reposting my thoughts from one of the individual mods.

Have you considered using a 'tier' system to add multiple levels to these weapons? IE more powerful versions equivalent to magnetic and plasma guns? I would just love to use these guns through the whole game as they add great diversity but it would be a pain to have to manually edit all the ini files for each development tier.

I have the same issue with mods not appearing on weapons. It's most likely a conflict with another mod, but strangely the M249 is not affected. The 870, 416-417, L115, AK-12 and G series weapons have have the graphics for their attachments broken, but the 249 chugs along being awesome, showing it's modifications and looking pretty. It's very strange.

Thanks for these mods Yard. For some reason the attachments aren't showing up on any of your guns for me though, I put the stock on the shotgun and there was no visual change (same w/ scope on sniper).

Im wondering, does anyone know how to apply higher tier tech (Mag, Beam) to these Weapon Mods so they can use the Shredder Ability (shreds 2, 3) properly?

Yard, all of your weps are showing up as black/dark, unable to change colors or pattern except in the stock and grip. Main body of all weps are all black. Anyone else having same problem? This is recent.

It would be neat if you added optional versions with diffrent stats for the people who want the for looks withoud sacrificing effectiveness.
It took me forever to edit those stats but you should'nt have any problems doing so.
