For reference, the new filename is called "MetalSlugCharacterPool.XComMod", rename it to MetalSlugCP.XComMod which should fix it.

Figured that one out before your post, But Yeah.
Hopefully the devs can lock some of this ♥♥♥♥ down. Voicepak mods have even more wacky ♥♥♥♥ to deal with that changing filenames.

Sorry to hear that. XCom 2 is kind of fidgety...
From this Reddit post it appears there's a file name issue, you can rename the filename of the mod to the missing one: https://www.reddit.com/r/Xcom/comments/450gh9/cant_load_a_save/

yeah i just got hit up with that error too. Pretty disheartening to know that mod authors can change or update their content and inadvertantly muck up save files as a result. Going to have to turn off steam auto updates to prevent that in the future since im already going modcrazy.

Nisa Zaku: It's now fixed, there was a mistake in the folders. Try updating again and see if it's there. Thanks!
