Noticed a bugg while playing Viking starting in slot 1.
I could build have demolition ships after getting the upgrade for the warships.

Apologies for the late response! You have to be player 2 to play as the Danes... Or maybe pick red colour, i think this should work.

Hmm... yes unfortunately the host always have to be Norway. So if you got any friends, try and get them to host, and you may be another faction. :)

Depends on what period of time you wish to see it as. I suppose Teutons being from the right area would make a good candidate but i think we assosiate them too much with the holy roman empire. And the Britons's dominance in England of the time to have been too weak, if we're thinking migration era. I suppose it's rather optional for all three to ones liking :)

You simply can't have true and realistic early medieval naval warfare in AoE. People need to realize that naval battles in these times were not won by bolts, arrows and ballistics. Warships keeping distance from one another would be a bad thing for either and often both sides, boarding would be Inevitable. And sadly, that can't be done here.
Galleys, Fire ships and Demolition ships are just completely irrelevant in this scenario.

Awesome map! Admittedly not having any naval battles was a little disappointing but otherwise it was very interesting and enjoyable.

This was made long before the Naval ballance update. Having galleys littering the shores, shooting way inland from all sides, one could win only by navy, that is just a ruining experience i feel, and i'm sure you would agree. :)

North sea saw a lot of naval battle, so why NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WAR SHIP?
