one was built, it vitually had a gun from a destroyer slapped on it and some naval engines to power it, but it was so heavy and massive it couldnt even move

Yes, it boggles the mind that even Hitler could have thought this thing was a good idea. It was a ridiculous, impractical, wasteful fantasy of Hitler's drug addled mind. In the field it would have been a complete liability, not to mention HUGE target for Allied aircraft. For it to have even a prayer of making a difference in action, Nazi air superiority would have been mandatory, which we all know was something they did not have. For the money and resources it took to build just one, something like full division of King Tigers and more than a dozen ME-262s could have been built and used in actiton. The problems with the thing are too many to discuss here, but as someone who has busted track on modern armored vehicles, the thought of just trying to maintain the six monster tracks on this thing makes my head hurt.
