depends on the mod author, and how they compiled the models, if they compiled through Source 2013 it definitely works for both SFM and GMOD out of the box so long as physics are present for the model. If a model was compiled for SFM specifically they most likely did not see physics meshes as a necessity, textures are simply a directory issue and easier to fix.

It worked thanks. Is this supposed to work with all of SFM addons that i download? For example i downloaded Hiccup & Astrid and when go to spawn them, they have all missing texture (purple things) and they're not ragdolls just objects to be moved. Is that normal?

that addon.txt file needs to be inside the folder you just put in there

that's how Gmod reads legacy addon formats

take that folder and drag it into addons and then give it an 'addon.txt'

if you just tried to go to the link without removing any you'll end up at a non-functioning link. If you remove all the spaces present where there shouldn't be, ie: at the end of // after mediafire, and the period. the link works, you just have to copy the whole thing into a searchbar and remove the spaces present.

it has been ported to gmod, the link is on another page in the thread, you just have to copy it and paste it into another browser and remove any spaces for it to work
