I don't know how to mod, so probably not :<

But this was to fix a bug in the way original original game, so it's probably fine if you don't use it.

If you think you are capable of not messing up your settings you can adjust the range if you search for "WoundSeverities" and change the min/max points of the specified health percentage range example:
WoundSeverities=(MinHealthPercent=21, MaxHealthPercent=50, MinPointsToHeal=6000, MaxPointsToHeal=32000, Difficulty=1)

This line goes for soldiers have left 21%-50% hp and it chooses a random number between at least 6000 points to heal and max 32000 points to heal if you dont want such a big range adjust the number to your liking and of course make sure you change it for the right difficulty.
The vanilla numbers may be diffrent, but the principle should be clear I hope

If you are willing you can do it yourself just open the xcomgamedata.ini.
If you use long war 2 you may have to change the xcomgamedata.ini of it I dont know how the game sets its prioritys

Allways backup your stuff and make sure you dont write weird numbers in... should be obvious...

within the file search for "HealSoldierProject" this is what you should see
HealSoldierProject_TimeScalar[0]=1.5 ;Easy
HealSoldierProject_TimeScalar[1]=1.5 ;Normal
HealSoldierProject_TimeScalar[2]=1.5 ;Classic
HealSoldierProject_TimeScalar[3]=2.5 ;Impossible

These values get multiplied with the values for the wounded times I wont go into them as this should be easier for people even with zero understanding of it.
So if you change the multiplier from 2 to 1 it will obviously half the potential wounded time.

This doesn't work properly for me. In fact the only effect it has is making gravely wounded soldiers infinitely gravely wounded. I had one soldier that was 1 day off of full recovery, did a mission using an entirely new squad, and it reverted him to 10 days and at 4hp

This can be fixed by going into the .ini and changing it yourself. \Mods\LessGravelyWounded\Config\XComGameData.ini. Use Notepad++ for ease.

The threshold for Gravely wounded normally is 0% to 20% HP. This mod changes it to 0% to 9% HP.

But it's impossible for a Rookie unit with 5 HP to have 0% to 9% HP and still be alive to take the wound. (1/5 is .2, the original maximum threshold for Gravely wounded.)
It's impossible for a unit with 6 HP to have 0% to 9% HP and still be alive.
It's impossible for a unit with 7 HP to have 0% to 9% HP and still be alive.
It's impossible for a unit with 8 HP to have 0% to 9% HP and still be alive.
It's impossible for a unit with 9 HP to have 0% to 9% HP and still be alive.
It's impossible for a unit with 10 HP to have 0% to 9% HP and still be alive.
It's impossible for a unit with 11 HP to have 0% to 9% HP and still be alive. (1/11 is .0909, so it depends on the rounding.)
It's finally possible for for a unit with 12 HP to have 0% to 9% HP and still be alive. (1/12 is .083)

Mod works, dunno what everyone is talking about.

HOWEVER, there is a critical fault in this mod unrelated to to the patch entirely.

With this mod installed I have never once been gravely wounded -- only light or normal wounds. And I've finally found out why.

Normal wound ranges are:
0% to 20% HP: Usually gives a grave wound.
21% to 50%: Usually gives a wound.
51% to 75%: Usually gives a light wound.
76% to 100%: Lightly wounded.

This mod changes them to:
0% to 9% HP: Usually gives a grave wound.
10% to 29%: Usually gives a wound.
30% to 59%: Usually gives a light wound.
60% to 100%: Lightly wounded.

As far as I can tell, every mod that affects wound times no longer works with Shen's Gift. Pity.

I'm not sure if this works. I've had every unit in my squad get "gravely wounded" after losing 2 health, even though they had Spider Armor. Even without the spider armor, that should still just be ~71% health, which should make it impossible according to "grave wounds should be common under 30% and rare below 60% and impossible above 60%." I don't have any DLC, just mods that shouldn't conflict with this.

Hi, l understand you have had comms with Numbers (from the fatigue mod) regarding an incompatibility arising from these two being used together. Are you planning to implement a fix and if so, do you have a rough ETA?

I can confirm what Soldium wrote, regarding a freeze/lockup just before the Firebrand landing cinematic. Probably a compability issue, as I have 50 other mods installed, but disabling LGW fixed the problem. So sad, I hate having soldiers in the hospital for 20+ days.

Been trying to decide which wounded mods to run, was wondering, do you know if this mod conflicts with It's just a Scratch, or would it conceivably work with it? The other mod means wounds are calculated only on Base hp (so if you only use armour hp you don't get wounds).

Tank you for the answer Kwahn, Actually I found out that it was Bronzeman Mode or probably the combination of both because when I desactivate LGW it stopped crashing. It's a great Mod, still using it and wait for a Bronzeman fix.

Hello, Thanks for the Mod.
It worked great until now, I'm freezing when I'm back from a mission, after the mission summary screen, at the second load before the animation of the soldiers walking back. I have to quit the game, Uncheck the mod and force load to finiish the mission.
Since there was no update change last couple of weeks, I guess this is a Mod incompatibility.
Is there known Mods Confliict wich can cause this ?
I recently add 'Human creavity Mod', Experimental Item Unlock', 'Stabilize-me' and ' Nice dropship Debriefing'.

Been playing with this mod for awhile. It seems that stuff gets weird when you heal a soldier. I had my soldier get critically hit, bleed out, stabilized, revived, then healed to full HP... and she only stayed in the med bay for 3 days on legendary.

As much as I'm fine and enjoy this, I'm just not sure if this was the intended effect you wanted with your mod.

Ever since the update, it seems like I'm back to having Gravely Wounded all the time (always at > 50% remaining HP -- and I think , once, one of my guys ran through fire, got 2 points of burn damage (out of 6 HP total), and got Gravely Wounded).

I'm having an interesting problem - no matter what wounds my units sustain, even if it is a critical injury, the wounds are ALWAYS light.

Scars only occur when a soldier is gravely wounded? Might explain it then. They only ever get wounded/lightly wounded with this mod :P

Hi. The mod used to work correctly but after I got back into the game recently there seems to be a bug. If a soldier gets wounded in battle, they always end up lightly wounded no matter how much damage they've taken. Not sure after which update this happened. Any help? Cheers.

I like the idea, because the wounds were ridiculous and random in vanilla (feedback damage from a failed skulljack hack came out as a light wound upon mission completion once; didn't save the game before quitting and had to finish the mission again at next session, came back a grave wound), but I feel like something is wrong with this mod, don't know if it has to do with updates or what. At first I couldn't really tell that anything had been changed, but about midway through the Legendary campaign I just finished I started getting nothing but light wounds, even for people who were bleeding out! This made the game too easy, as anything short of a death was basically inconsequential. Kind of took the shine off beating Legendary.

No other wound mods, just this. Two guys ended up in bleeding out status and got evac'd. Neither got "Gravely Wounded". Anyone else getting overly light wounds?

It's something that's supposed to happen normally. When your soldiers get wounded, they can get scars automatically (though you can still change them via the customization menu). Not happening in my game though, so I'm wondering if it's a mod conflict.
