Nice mod! But i really wonder how did you get sound file from Squad. Did you recorded it by yourself or extract file from original game? If you extracted file from game how did you do that?

Amazing mod, really gives a nice vibe. I only wish the sounds were more intense. Sometimes the voices and other sound effects overshadow gunshots and explosions, and you can barely hear the frag grenade bounce. Not very helpful.

great mod, but needs it's sounds to be boosted.

@NИRЯ Cause the sound work diferently on each engine, is better on Unreal than Source, the sound design in unreal engine is more complete.

Wow. Squad has some shitty sounds.

The gun sounds should be so loud that it deafens you permanently.

Guns too quiet

the rifle sounds are a bit quiet. like the pistol and smg sounds are louder than an assault rifle and even the handling sounds are louder

@[REDi]1R CPL Pounc3r Oh, sorry.I tried to manually increase the volume of the sounds but it gets very bad and distorted since each sound was made to fit perfectly with the engine and scripts of the game SQUAD. After much editing the sounds I got close to quality using the Source engine and in addition I had to decrease many of the original Insurgency sounds for the volume to be more balanced.

and are the suppressed sounds replaced?i dont hear a difference in the suppressed shotgun or suppressed mk18 sounds

If you make the sounds 1.5x-2x louder it would be realistic and perfect

@sleths I tried but it gets horrible because it has scripts created that change the sound according to the environment, volume regulator etc, that change the sound inside the Squad and when it goes to Source does not get the same quality.

@TheDutchman Yes, thank you, I also had to change a few things in the audio so it would be comfortable beyond realist.

This is a very good full sound package. It feels very realistic, and because they are made to work together there are no strange level changes in the individual sounds.

Also recommend making the gun sounds louder

@sleths This is because the sounds work differently in Unreal engine to Source had to modify some sounds so that they were adequate and comfortable in Insurgency.

If u compare insurgency squad sound mod to the orginial squad sound mod there quite a difference
