I've been working on new land and water textures and have been playing with them for a while but haven't got round to finishing it and publishing. They're brighter and less gritty.

I like your textures, but could you make a vibrant/warmer version? Its a little to dark for my liking

I just haven't got round to uploading what would have been V4 land textures so yeah this is the latest ver. I want to do some new dirt textures before I publish v4

Thanks :) beta4.8 has sparked my interest in the game again, new V4 is being made with better shallows and grass which I'm going to upload soon maybe tomorrow.

Ali-TP, in my opinion, this mod has better terrain colors than even Ozhara's stuff, and he's good at terrain mods. I do A LOT of yucatan/jungle/swamp maps or map editor work, so this mod is graet for that. Thank you very much and keep working.

Love it. I reinstalled Age of Empires to play just because of this.

@brentaltink Just smash that green subscribe button with an almighty click, wait for it to download, launch the game then make sure the mod is enabled in the in-game mod manager.

nice mod dude! you should try to make some textures like the grass less dark and try and reetexture the buildings to follow the dark thing because the lighting of the building puts me off
and also you should try a make a more colorful version of your texture pack

@therangerwu Thanks for your comment! You made me relook at the originals and I've made some new changes to the farms for the next update, much more lush than mine before but still less bright than than Mike's original texture. Also some other textures were too dark. I'm not a fan of that jungle you linked, I think it looks a bit plastic and fake. The jungle I've got here isn't great looking but I at least prefer it to the others I've seen. You can go into my mods diectory from the ingame workshop page and delete the slp files fjun_nn and fjun_n0 to remove my jungle trees (you'd have to do that again after each update I make though I think?).

I love the water, mines, and grass...

I've now made the waterfalls light grey. Much better than the cartoonish blue paint look of the old ones.
