If you are really interested on this we'll find a way.
Try from another computer when you have a chance to rule out the problem is not on your computer. if it is not, I'll upload the file for you to some repository. I don't know if that will work out afterwards because an msi file will still need to download more stuff but... who knows
You don't have permission to access blah blah blah
Try this link: http://labs-download.autodesk.com/us/labs/trials/worldwide/123DCatch.msi
You might clicked on the second link that is not working anymore. (I'm going to remove it btw). Try again the first one.
I added a picture before reducing the polygons. As you can see the mesh was too heavy to be used in TTF. I applied a 0.09 decimate ratio in the model uploaded.
Sorry to hear that about wyrd. I wonder if they really have rights to ask you that as it is a miniature you have scanned yourself (for me it's the same that publishing a picture of a miniature you have painted, you are sharing an image of a specific miniature you have taken) Anyway I think malifaux is not that "popular" and they could get advantage of this sort of initiative to gain potential customers but.. It's another way of see things.
I'm not an expert on this matter (that's what I'm using domestic equipment) but I guess the web cam should be able to take pictures of 1920x1080 (2MP) That worked for me. Alse the posibility of adjusting the focus manually. Anyway... as the software used is free you can try different options and see how it goes.
rolo3816,
I'm sorry, I don't have Blood Rage but I hope you find someone on this commutity that have it and is able to scan tem using this method.
Yep. That's the idea. I've got thousands of minis. Now I only need time to scan them. ;-)
but I will do a bunch of them every week. I'm thinking of staring with zombicide:
