Anyone who wants to view and play with the units in the editor is free to rename the proto file to proto2.5.xml and do so.
You can't play with any of the units normally anyhow so there's no point in updating it.
It will now only serve as an asset pack for modders, you have been warned.
And then use the example of my Roman mod to see where you need to add each unit in order for you to enable it to be trained in a certain building.
But you can still use the units and buildings in a new mod, you just need the materials from here, and to enter them in the .xml files, simple as that.
You can use my Roman mod as an example of how to get new units in to buildings to train them, you just have to edit the techtree.xml file for that.
And this is one of the few mods that I've converted that don't use any of the balance changes, and since I don't have the Chinese Expansion, I really have no idea if my changes go through at all or how they function, talking about Epic Warfare btw.
So yeah, if you're willing to help, I'd sure as hell love to update all of them to the best of my abilities. I'm not done yet, not until I've finished the Rome community expansion and Epic Warfare.
