BTW, to my surprise thin tires are better for... everything, I think, especially climbing.

the trucks for me is just overall slow, each one of em. dont know what to do.. ;P

The prerunner and insane tune are very fun and fast, dragster sounding motor is a bit much but these things are a blast to drive around on the wide open baja map

What if , big if but the tires (addon) ...mesh come in play with tires . The tires are set by light....and so on , but the two tires might be a combine weight of 2X a tire and the suspention is soft . Hope you under stand , I think may be the tires are getting the preset weight of the real tires added to your addon weight ? put weight on addon to min. & tires look if mesh might need to have a new tire file for addon ? I am no modder but if you follow may be what you need .Hope you get a fix. Good luck , realy like your mods !

Nice trucks ! Very very good job , have a problem with a addon on trucks . The picture will show , I guess your addon is too heavy ? but not my mod so have no clue and once you see this comment and I will take picture down if you want . Keep up the good work . ST+ version is awesome , hope others do same to all mods ! (working on a map if you want to try early add me get link than you can take me off list if you want .

cant find frame means one part in your meshpart section is either misnamed or grouped or uses a name that dosent work with the game. cant load mat means the texture file is mis named, non-existant, or not where its supposed to be

uh hey dude uhm i cant get the xml set up it just wont work spin editor says that it couldnt find the materials i managed to put the textures in the textures folder so that works but how do i set up the frames when i open it it now says "Cant Load Matearial 0 cant find frame backlights" and well thats all of them the back lights are lights on the back of it but uh i have it all where as far as i know it should be and i cant find anything on the web :D

lol i looked as much as i could theres like a hundred level editing guides but pretty much only your modding guide so any ideas?:D

oh wait in the guide it shows to click a "truck name"__d_a.tga mines say body__d_a.png like you said will this screw everything up?

ok well im stumped ive gotten to a problem i have done all the uv mapping but then i use spintires editor to make the xml but then when i open it make the meterials it wants me to set up the file for defuse map now in the guide it says to open one file and thats the hole truck but ive made it in like windows then body then lights then exhausts so how do i set it up so it all apears in spintires editor and the next thing it wants you to do doesnt work at all when i click mesh frame so im not sure what to do now which is really anoying any ideas?:D

uh also can you have more then one cdt? because i think this model may need more then one :D

@cammando if 3ds is crashing its one of three things 1 bad plugin install (does it do it with other models?) 2 bad model (could be anything, again does it do it with other models if not try each part of this model until you find the bad one 3 your 3ds has currupted files or something going on

So if I wanted to adjust the gearing in the truck I like. how would I do that?

well its not a mud truck so i'm not going to make it great in the mud, as far as jumps go you have to hit a actual jump, not a hill if its too rounded or steep your not going to get air. try it out on project x (use the green truck) or banjabaru (green or black should work) and dont use +1 its meant to cruise its not that fast ( you can only set it to about 15-18 without the truck doing doughnuts when it hits peak power, for reference 7th is set to 32)

also should mention i cant get it to sucessfully update at the moment,so you dont have a recent version... the truck has changed quite a bit

love the sound really good work on that but it cant jump or do mud at all

The truck is sweet on flat. I tested it on blackwater raceway and it cant clear the jumps. As soon as it hits the incline it slows and downshifts. My only criticism is that i'd like it to carry it's speed and momentum into jumps and hills better. I understand that seems to be a common theme amongst all the vehicles in game. I just hope you can find a way around it, cause this truck could be loads of fun

@hellsbells it could be the truck due to me not cleaning up the files yet, or if you havent already addressed it, it could be the bum update that came out on the (25th?) that has been causeing almost constant crashing

it is in need of work crashes in game but i have been waiting for an s10 like it a lot.

AWESOME truck! Absolutely addicting, Is it possible to get it holding gears better? Seems it auto the truck will down shift like crazy when hitting an elevation change

oh and i would not lift it just keep the no fenders version personally.

Really like the truck, please keep up the good work. I have an idea you probably would ignore but i thought it would be fun... put a swamp swamp crawler setup on it that has really tall skinny tires and make it run about half speed or less? idk might b fun :)
