I'm having the same issue with the visor :(
I'm not sure if I have anything that is conflicting with it, but I must if it is working for you.
Do you have any idea what addons might conflict with it?

@Proxy yes the c_hands are included and @frordon geeman yes these do include the hands from the hd pack it's just that the texture is a little different

i know how to solve the shiny bug. get the half life 1 deathmatch playermodels and it will fix it or any playermodel that has that chrome it will instantly fix it the void no more BUT sometimes like on gm construct the visor will just turn white i dont know how to fix it but hey we already solved one of the main problems!

Can you port the rest of the models like the deathmatch ones and other black mesa staff and HECU

Hi LimE, Thank you for downloading an taking the time to troubleshoot this addon. I must say I really appreciate the efforts that you've gone through to resolve the problem. You are on the right track when you mentioned that the version of gmod was the culprit. The engine branch that is currently being used broke how chrome shaders, meant for use in HLS, appear in game. With that said The creator of the texture fix addon created custom cubemaps to mostly restore the original visual appearance. I have tried to replicate this method for textures not affected by the addon but I'm not getting it right. I have thought about making the visor texture look for a similar materials that is in the pack as a temporary solution but never did...
