It`s ac pretty great job, i was doing the same thing for ql movie. I`m curious - where do you find original "enemy flag returned" sound? it is mixed? or i didn`t search q3 and team arena files correctly?

Its not the original announcer!This one sounds a bit different!The real one had lower pitched voice!Sad :( I have quake 3 arena and team arena but they dont work right cant connect to all servers!

browse into your system. search your steam directory and then:
(... \ steam \ steamapps \ workshop \ content \ 282440 \ 609890750 ) <-- this folder!
this is the downloaded file: "z_q3-announcer.pk3".

Put this file into your ( ... \ steam \ steamapps \ common \ Quake Live \ baseq3 ) " folder

ok ... first of all copy the downloaded file into your baseq3 folder:

(... \ steam \ steamapps \ workshop \ content \ 282440 \ 609890750 \ z_q3-announcer.pk3 )
--> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> --> -->
( ... \ steam \ steamapps \ common \ Quake Live \ baseq3 )

you have 2 options to activate the announcer voice. first you can drop down the ingame console and write in "\cg_announcer 2" or you do that in the menu (Settings -> Sound -> Announcer Voice -> Vadrigar).

well done. :)

to uninstall this pak delete the z_q3-announcer.pk3 from your baseq3.

It say's to change cg_Announcer 2 what do you mean by that? renaming it, changing some script inside a file (if so which file) or is it something I'm not thinking of? Thank you for any help you give

Server owners need to put the .pk3 into FS_HOMEPATH/baseq3 and/or /steamapps/common/qlds/baseq3 for it to work on sv_pure 1 servers.
