I can only subscribe to the fact romano barbaric troops look very cool aesthetically speaking. Sadly however they were shit as troops, in general. My unit is not fully historical because not many trained Germanic troops from roman territories would form an organised platoon within the context of a rebellion.

ok sorry but it seems campaign savefiles don't match with the update I'd made so I rolled back to the incompatible version and I will upload tomorrow the one that works with the cohorts setting this one as obsolete and only valid for those who already have started a game with the unit.

sorry for that, I'll update you tomorrow with the link to the compatible mod.

Yes ingame they are named Cohorts and that's the mod. I'll look into it and update the mod in the next two days then.

looks great, are you referring to the frankish cohors mod? i do use that mod when playing a frankish campaign and would love to use yours as well

Hello there Deputy Dropshot, glad you happened by. Yeah I was inspired and got the idea from your legionnaires, and used your .pack as a template for other units too.

I know that's a fundamental value but it's also necessary to change all the prefixes on all tables and give the unit a different name on the variants, then change all the values (Fra_Leg here). I also believe building recruitment id's are unique for each mod.

Wow, this is pretty nice. I haven't checked it myself in combat but I'm honored you used my unit as the base for yours. Also, in the 'Main_units' table under 'unique_id' that's what you change so it will be compatible to mine

Can anybody confirm the Mobile Testudo is stll glitched? I've been trying but it seems to be pointless and breaks up immediatly after contact with the enemy occurrs.

I'll be patching the unit and add the shield wall as a defensive mobile formation to deploy against missiles and infantry.
