It's under the "SCars" tab in the spawn menu (Q). Make sure you have "SCars Slim" installed first.
need help
I prefer extracting the models on my own, since I have more control over what to change or improve. If you could, narrow the list down to NFS Most Wanted (2005), Carbon, Pro Street and Undercover - I'll be working on cars from these games next. I have already received requests for a 2005 Chevy Cobalt and 1969 Dodge Charger.
It is safer to convert them from video games, since developers usually don't mind using them as mods, as long as it's for free and due credit is given.
but thanks anyway
It depends on what game you want to use your model in. If it's not Garry's Mod, I'm afraid you will have to do the research on your own.
I haven't seen any eighth generation Impala around here, so yes, it's time to make one. I have already received the base model so it should be ready in a couple of days.
Not at the moment. However, there is one vehicle from the '80s coming up. It's quite big, actually.
I think it can be done. Expect one in a few days.
Sorry, I really don't have time to create an in-depth tutorial. However, I would recommend getting ZModeler 2 [www.zmodeler2.com] (you can use the unregistered version if you're planning on creating from scratch). It's much easier to use than Blender. You can also export to various formats, including .3ds and .obj supported by Blender.
Here are some tutorials you might find useful when working with ZModeler: LINK [www.zmodeler2.com]
Good luck!
Yes, I'm sorry, I'm a bit behind on making more HP2 cars again. I will release a new one by tomorrow.
The handling you gave it is solid as far as source vehicles go, not too fast that it's unrealistic but not too slow that it's boring. And the fact that you can actually tip the thing if you take a corner too hard is really fun. Only gripe is that the horn seems out of place here.
Also, if you'd ever like, I can see if I can lend a hand with the material properties. But keep up the good work, GMod needs more of these kinds of low/midpoly vehicles.
