can you make these crafted in the smithy/fabricator to make it more realistic. And i believe the tranq arrows are too strong, they do more than double the tranq dart in narco power, I believe the power should be no more than 1.5x the power of a dart.

Haven't tried this but it looks like just what our server needs a we remove extinction. A well balanced looking way of faster taming I would only wonder if the costs could be tweaked a little on the arrows to make them more costly as 1 narcotic really wouldn't be more effective on a metal arrow then a wood one

An arrow fired from a crossbow does 70 torpor + 87.5 torpor over 4 sec so a total of 157.5 torpor every 4 seconds if had an arrow hit it every 4 seconds exactly. For your tranq metal arrow you gave me x's I don't understand x's

I have everything installed and the mod id on my server but it just dosnt seem to be working some how the other two mods i have work but this one wont show up.

@B17 I haven't played Ark in a while, but you can try checking out looking for 'Atrosa' under collections. the stack mod i was using worked perfectly as of the last time i played, though that was several weeks ago.

could you say me actually a stack mod that have 10k stacks of like any item (ammo and arrows excluded) and changes the weight of the stacks like 10% ?

@B17 Flying Fortress: I tested today in single player running only this mod and was able to craft the arrows without an issue. Are you running other mods? Specifically any mods that change the Metal Arrows like a stacking mod?

When crafting these arrows I have specified a 'strict' check on the arrows being used to craft being a 'Metal Arrow' as when I had a 'loose' check on the arrows being used it would consume other speciality arrows in a players inventory if you weren't careful. I have left it as a 'loose' check on the other resource requirements (Such as narcotics) so that it works with the custom stack sizes of narcotics from mods like the Industrial Grinder. Some of the stack mods leave ammo stacks unchanged so if a stack mod is part of your setup you might be able to resolve this issue by switching to a stack mod that doesn't change the stack size of ammo including the Metal Arrows.

this mod is broken cause its no more working on version 239.2 reason: the normal metal arrow doesnt count anymore in single player so no way to craft one of these arrows.

@Kosher Pork: Taming effective is reduced by damage done to a tame AFTER it has been knocked unconscious. The Tranq Metal Arrows still allow you to have perfect tames assuming you have the kibble or favourite food :)

Say I'm going for a perfect tame, will using the trnaq metal arrow to knock out a dinosaur cause it to lose tame effectiveness? Or does it not affect it like Scorpion stings?

I'm excited to announce that @AZDIMI le MacFly is now contributing to this mod. Thanks to their contribution a new work bench for crafting the arrows will be added in the next update along with a new explosive arrow. We are aiming for an update in the next week~ so watch this space

Regarding the drain arrow, a better name might be the 'Famine' or 'Malnutrition' arrow. Drain is kind of generic, whereas Famine describes the overall effect.

@NoRageNoGame try loading up a single player with only the mod and see if that works if it does you have a mod conflict.

well the engrams show's for me, but i cant learn it. i can spawn in arrows and blue prints. but every thing goes away after restart. i have an unoffical server i register the mod but it dont seem to update it.

This, plus the Starvation mod, are the best combo for taming high level dino's. Save so much time on tames, even without messing with the taming rates.

Great work. It was cool before even when it wasn't working right. Now that it is working, it's awesome. One of my new favorite mods. Thanks.

Ok, Great news, I can confirm the mod is PROPERLY working now on my dedicated server! Huzzah!

So far the testing with v0.32 seems to successfully resolve the issue with the mod not showing in the engram list. For me at least! Now it is your turn - please give the mod a go and let me know whether the new metal arrows are showing in the engram list for you, or not. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

For server admins, please update the files on your server, but it doesn't seem to need a server restart for this update to be applied as no damage ratings were changed.

Unfortunately v0.31 does *not* fix the engram list issue. Back to the drawing board. On the plus side - I can now create the problem locally thanks to feedback from @TyoAtrosa. That should make fixing it much easier! When I have a solution that works you can expect v0.32 to be released with it to see if it works for everyone else too.

The mod has just been updated to v0.31 and *should* fix the engram list issue (it should now show in engram lists on all servers -AND- arrows should persist after server reboots). Please advise me in the Bugs & Known Issues discussion thread if this resolves it for your server, makes it worse, or if there are other quirks as a result of this update

@spyro3, @Z NationX, @Aviatronic: Sorry for not replying sooner, the engram list isn't showing for everyone and it is a known bug. Thanks for posting on my behalf @TyoAtrosa. I've got a good idea of how the mod needs to be changed but it is taking me a little while to get it right before I push an update out through the Steam Workshop. I expect to be able to share an update to address this issue (v0.31) in the next 48 hours :) I appreciate your patience with me!

@Aviatronic: this is a known bug with the current version of the mod, he should be able to fix it with the next release. you can however spawn in the blueprints and build from those, though the items won't persist through a server reboot yet. should hopefully be fixed soon.

SleepyLloydy, I recently subscribed to this mod and am hosting this on a non-dedicated server with my friend. I had put it into the server but will not appear in the engrams list, only the usual compound bow and metal arrows, please help. :)
