@Vinilly This is a good mod and I still use it today.It would be a fantasy but if this mod can be put into the 1212AD overhaul, it would be so cool.

how awful. late romans trump imperial augustinian legionaries. the gladius is crap and short. the scutum is wank and crap for group fighting. and the segmentata is a travesty compared to chainmail or scale.-10/10

I have been looking for something like this... I know it isnt historically accurate but I want my Western Roman Empire units to looks a little more like the classic Roman Legionaries. If im playing the Roman Empire id like my troops to look like...the Roman Empire. Instead, they look like rag tag early medieval mercenaries or something. Nothing like a professional army from the greatest power in the world.

i can hopefully say that rome 2 had much better looking legions than attila (yeah attila is further ahead on the timeline but still.)

Please update. I want to play this game but only with traditional legions.

Hey Vinilly, awesome fricken mod. Thank you SOOO much. BUT, do you have or are you planning on adding any other roman units, and maybe units for other factions that are cooler and more unique that the shit vanilla units that CA gave us?

+andypuk reason that the file size is big is because there are more detail armor in this file for ancient legionaries like their horses and diffirent variaty of skins with diffirent scares tattos and weapons. Also Hestatii, Principal and Triarii weapons and armor are embedded in this mod for anyone wanting more ancient units.

I made these are well balanced I know I been asked for higher health and armor however as much as I want to I live in immersion in this Attila world. Balance is key.

Yeas I made them for eastern roman empire as well for whatever reason.

Use the compatible version if you want to make it better to never break.
Lot of audio and other animations kept on these units.

199mb? isn't really that much but I can look into what I used as far as modding the game I am sure I kept some sound bites for the unit. I should check to see if the compression rate can be futher compressed.

199mb for one unit??????? that's a bit large isn't it. It's about 10 times the size of any other highly detailed unit. They are beautiful but still.
