@DownToRAMRanch L4D2 has a hard 3.5 GB RAM limit, so upgrading your system will not affect crashing. I recommend removing large texture mods where you don't see as much difference, otherwise you'll have to start optimizing your installed mods.

Too many 2k-4k mods that i have downloaded actually crash my pc mid-game. And yet, i have 16 Gigabytes of ram. Might go for 32 here.
