the intention was to require more because of the armor, i'll check the icons don't know why they stopped working, I will also fix the block variants, and align these on the thrust row.

@DocSteal, Yeah the Icon for the atmos are broken for some reason.

has anyone else not see the Large Atmo Engines Icon it is not showing up for me. if there is an easy fix please let me know thanks and keep up the great work

Hmm is it normal for the max required input to be higher then normal unarmored thrusters? Or does that not matter. Thrust is the same but large grid small Vanilla max required input is 1.2m3 and the sloped is 1.7m3, large grind large is 7.5, and armored is 10.0m3.

I keep running into an issue of the game crashing with a pink box on the small sloped thruster in the construction stage. I have attempted to look for the model folder in what should be the mod's forlder, but I only find this.

they should be the same power as normal, but armored with more plates, so there is a trade off of loss of lift to increase in armor

Quick question, is this mod (and the other 2 armored in the description link) more or less the same thrust power than vanilla ? (By that i mean if there is an increase of mass for the thruster themselves if they got a little more thrust to compensate or something)

found a temporary fix for pink building stages for small sloped engine: take building stages models from small not sloped engine, it seems to be ok, as far as they are pretty similar

the label for them existed, model didn't... thus the pink box.

Yeah, pink boxes for me as well on one of the build stages. Looks like the game cannot find the model for it.

I'm confused now, what I have on local folder is correct, so I have no idea how you're getting those errors. I will upload again to see if that fixes it, as far as the small 1x3x1 slope, i forgot that model, will have to add it in again.

These are now updated with new models

the old models break game I think, these are next on the update list, almost finished with Ion engines

@Aeleas The same thing happens to me when I try to put it on my toolbar. Going to try clearing my mods folder, but I expect this will be fixed when nukeguard finishes the new models and updates it.

Does it make sense that the broken models would cause the game to crash when I try to select one of these engines from the G menu? It's repeatable, but I don't want to stop looking for a cause if this isn't it.

No worries. I figured as much. Just figured I'd get a word out there in case you weren't aware, or others were having similar problems.

There is an update coming for these, I have to build new models bc of the new models in SE. Hydro ones are almost done.

So, did some tests, and it would appear that these, plus the Armored Hydrogen Thrusters are bugged with the latest update.

Have been doing some testing over the last few days since my saves stopped loading and would crash without a log. Narrowed it down to these two mods and I am able to replicate it with a fresh world with only these mods installed. As soon as I drag the thruster to my build-bar, the game crashes.

It appears this mod now screws up the new menu organisation and there are several blank rows at the bottom of the g-menu , with the armoured thrusters at the very bottom.
