This planet is great for farming materials. Bring in a ship with turrets set for characters, get out of your seat/cockpit, turn off your jetpack (spiders only spawn/move when player is "Standing"), watch the slaughter, then pick through the remains.

Welp. Whatever absurd magic you used to max out the spiders works. I got an notification I didn't even know Space Engineers had. (maximum number of bot has been reached)

BTW, when outside the atmosphere, the atmosphere black with a glow of its actual colors.

I would love a version of this planet where the ores are all deep down, but you can get to them via pre-existing tunnel networks created by the spiders. In other words, resource gathering jsut got a lot more dangerous.

so i absolutly love this planet, the whole idea. I'm currently using it to test out land based vehicals. Something i would love to see though is the planet being rich with natural resources ( ice, urainum, Platinum, etc) give it a risk vs reward feel for going on it in multiplayer. i'd actully like to try and build a start senario using this planet :)

Found this mod on the workshop.
Tell friend that I found a cool new planet we should play on.
He asks why its cool.
I tell him: "You will find out."
We land on surface.
He steps outside onto the ground.
Is immediately murdered by 30 spiders.
He logs out.
He unfriends me on steam.
Much success was had.

10/10 would spider again.

Do you have any plans to model custom trees, bushes or rocks? I vaguely remember something being shown about custom trees, but I have no dea how plausible the other 2 are.

Darn, doc. Sorry to hear that. I've been dying to see a "destroyed" planet. All sand, dirt, stone, explosion craters, thin atmosphere, fog, lava. A big ruined, scarred planet destroyed by some sort of conflict.
