Controls come from WAC, I dont choose the controls. Check their main page for instructions

It pains me to see many great aircraft not being updated for HVAP. In case people didn't know, WAC is dead. It's been pretty much abandoned by Weltensturm, and its only a matter of time when a new Garry's Mod update completely breaks it. Yes, flying in WAC does feel better, but I think this could be solved by implimenting a legacy flight model option into HVAP.

HVAP is better than WAC but HVAP is more annoying and arcady to fly whereas WAC is more realistic and just feels better

Spawn the xwing from under entites>wac xwing, go to the cockpit and press E. Once inside press R to start the engines and use W and S to control the thrust and use the mouse to control the flight direction

@Dakota Im working on the old xwing the ARC170. Ive seperated all of its parts and rigged it with accurate skinning. Im just struggling on the collision model which I realy hate doing because it takes ages but I get what you mean

My only recommendations are get the wings to open, make the astromech removable (like a bodygroup) and fix the landing gears positions so it will be a more accurate to the onscreen X-wing http://img13.deviantart.net/b38c/i/2009/320/7/5/t_65j3_x_wing_by_soter_1.jpg If you want to try you could use the x-wing from the new battlefront (I would recommend making the wings separate pieces so it would reduce polygons) you will have to ask JakeGreen for it first though http://jakegreen163.deviantart.com/

You can fly this thing. You just need to be sub'd to the WAC base and the Harriers V2
