It's been ages, but finally returned to work on this:
1. Made the rate of fire properly consistent, bit faster.
2. Fixed the white hotshot lasgun not having its damage buff.
3. Picked a beefier firing sound for the hotshot lasguns.
4. Fixed hotspot lasguns not having muzzle flash effects.
5. Re-enabled the ability to fire while sprinting.
6. Added the holster function from the bolter SWEP.
7. Set the hotshot versions to the same weaponslot.

One of these days I'd like to try and figure out how to add c_hands support, but we'll have to see.

And somewhat belatedly, thank you. Sorry that I haven't done much in the way of updating these, nor any attempt to make those orky weapons. The models proved harder to convert into a GMod-usuable format than I initial assumed they'd be.

Really strange bug

Hope it solves that. Tested so far and it doesn't seem to affect regular thirdperson view, so just need to see if it helps when viewing other players.

If you're able to, what I was thinking of...in an individual SWEP's file, there's a "local" titled ActIndex. If you didn't try changing the relevent definition for "normal" from ACT_HL2MP_IDLE to ACT_HL2MP_IDLE_AR2, see whether that does anything. If it works I'll implement that change and submit it.

Ah, very odd. It's hard for me to test this as my net is complete and under crap, but that idea does give me an idea. I'll need to test it to ensure that it doesn't break other things.

Just changed normal to ar2 (thinked there is a strange problem in with this function). After it lasgun is holding like a pistol (before it it was hold like "none" or "normal", dunno).

One thing that might work. When you tested replacing normal with AR2, did you do that by changing ActIndex (thus changing how "normal" is interpreted) or did you change usage of the normal holdtype to the AR2 type?

Hmm. I'm not yet entirely sure how to fix this, if custom models are causing a problem. Especially if changing the hold type definitions isn't enough.

It's OK on default models, but fucked up on custom. Some works good, some not. i editet your cod a little bit (replacing normal with ar2), but now players hold lasguns in 1 hand like pistols. I think there is strange error with custom player models

The world model is bugged. If you look at yourself (using cameras for example) it's ok. But if other players using this weapon, they hold it ponting derectly to the ground (not like ar2 rifle. They hold it in one hand and aim to their legs). I really wish you fix this bug
