Ep2 generally has content from Episode 1 so it's pretty given that you'll be able to see a lot of ep1 stuff. If you search for episode 1 content ala hospital beds and such you will find them in EP2, they just tend to not be in the actual maps. Each game is built on the last. EP2 has all the content of HL2, for example. HL2 does not have content from EP2.

HL2 is just the base I have, then ep2 for the extra content, then css. I don't need to add ep1 because it pretty much comes with ep2.

tl;dr Pretty sure you don't need ep1. Any errors encountered are purely client side.

My suggestion would be to extract the 'materials' folder from Episode 2's vpk files (which can be done with GCFscape) and put them in Gmod's game folder (garrysmod/garrysmod <- put materials in the second one).

Which means I won't update the map as it simply is a client side issue. If it really was a problem, the map would show that on my side as well. I don't have magical working textures, I use default textures from the GMod default games. So far the only two games mounted on my Hammer are HL2, Episode 2, and Counter-Strike: Source. You literally just need these three (maybe not even HL2 but it's still better safe than sorry for the assets it may or may not be missing) and it should work. If it does not, it literally is not a problem on my side.

One solution is to go and find the materials folders for these three games and stick them into GMod's "garrysmod/garrysmod" folder where the gmod original materials is located.

This isn't my fault, at all. I get this complain too often for me to dispel it anymore. It's almost always a client issue

It's a Half-Life 2 texture.

I cannot go through the effort of doing that, it takes a long time. Let me find out exactly what game the texture is from, as kwiktrax is the only one I'm updating it for. As far as I know I didn't use the "new" texture previously due to issues.

LOL! No. Right, the missing texture is this: nature/blendgrassgravel01. -Just- for you I will now change it to nature/forest_grass_01. THIS IS A HALF-LIFE 2: EPISODE 2 GRASS TEXTURE. It will updated within the next 30 minutes.

I like to make sure everyone can use the map straight away. How some people don't have the default recommended games for GMod astound me at this point.

Why do people not include custom made textures instead of using HL2 textures and models? I don't get it.

Granted at this point it's pretty hard to play GMod if you don't at the very least have Half-Life 2, the basis for all source games? It is beyond me at this point why people wouldn't have HL2 to EP2. Maybe CSS I can now understand since CSGO is out, but HL2 to EP2? I don't get it

You will need to build it, however. I cannot make them very well, so this version was made for me by someone on the Blue Arrow servers.

Sligwolfs train's will not work on the map's track switches, however they will on the outside track. This is due to the way Sligwolf has made his trains via the use of sliders, not wheels.

There are no pre-set trains on the map.

If there is trains already on the map i did not know cause i haven't tried the map yet.

Question. Will Sligwolfs trains work or are there special trains in the workshop i need?

Hi sorry for not getting back to you. The addon you may need is to the right in the 'Required Items' box, it should be "Magnum's Trakpak". Hope this helps.

Alternatively, games used are HL2:EP2 and MAYBE Counter-Strike: Source textures, but the tracks are to the right. Hope this helps! <3

@Lionsmane, I believe that problem is actually due to the train itself. It uses sligwolf's train sliders as a base. Sligwolfs trains do not work on Magnum's track switches. I'm sorry.

Yeah footbridges should've been part of the map, but I don't necessarily feel like adding it in at this moment. Maybe in a while.

The idea is to keep it simple bro. This is all the map is getting unless there's a problem lol (but don't worry, a certain map may be getting a sequel soon)
