@The Bastard of Winterfell - just subscribe to this file after you have controller companion installed, then restart controller companion and it should work.

@gamerumble make sure that the config is at keyboard and not gamepad. Then change the keyboard settings.

@Murukai - Same thing happens with a wired XBox 360 Controller. I've reset both the controller and keyboard configs to default.

@gamerumble have you tried a regular xbox 360 controller? and did you switch the config in game as well? does it go left when you press a button or when you just leave it alone?

Keeps going left for XBox One Wireless Controller for some reason...

Yes I was thinking that trying to change the settings it must be a compatibility issue. Thanks for the advice and thanks for taking the time to make the con trolley profile. It's good to see fans of this game still out there! Such a shame the proposed sequel to Defiance was never finished. Definitely a series I'd love to see rebooted or even remade.

I'm not sure this would be controller related, but try checking out the forums, there may be some answers in there. I know there are some patches for this game too, but I haven't needed them yet. Try running the game in compatibility mode windows xp pack 3, administrator mode and diable display scaling.

I did yes. I just changed t so glyph is now secondary 'back' plus A.

Game keeps crashing now though just as Im about to enter the area with the boss who gives climbing ability. Just after the very second climbing vampire is first encountered as you go around the corner. Dont know if this is controller related but keeps crashing.. very annoying.
