Don´t download the mod. Your soldiers and the enemy soldiers have different ammo with the weapon they use. This means that you only have 1 shot and wrong ammo.

Step 1 find where your downloaded mods are stored.
Step 2 cilck on this mod then left click properties
Step 3 open mod.info (open it with notepad)
Step 4 change the MinGameVersion to this "3.115" and the MaxGamVersion to this MaxGameVersion "3.262.1"
Step 5 click save
Step 6 close it
Step 7 start your game up and see if it worked

TO GARM, ODST, dziedzic and jsvensk and other Bitfa wanting people. or other people on a completly different map section. This is for an error but will still work. The error is a simple thing with trying to download it with the link. The only way i know how to fix it is generally easy. you go to moddb and they just released a BITFA mod. you can go there, download it and move it to your mods folder. Many people say the mod is dead which is not true now. This worked for me because after examining the error message i noticed it was the same as yours. I hope this helped if you havent found the solution yet. To LINDSEY...... you can simply go to the mod folder and change the minimum gv to 3.001.0 and the max to 3.260.0

I've downloaded the file and put it into my AS2 folder but it still doesn't work. Haven't been able to find a mod folder in it either. I just wanna get to playing it!!!
