It sounds like you're still merging all the bones.

Connect the m203_root_joint or weapon_root bone on the rifle model to the corresponding bone on the M203. The bone on the M203 model should have a little padlock next to it.

Then select whichever bone you merged on the M203 model, and move the 'zero' slider all the way to the right. That's how I usually do it.

I'm having a worse problem now that I've followed that instruction I'm having the tube of the m203 bury itself in the rifle

If you merge all the bones, it does that. Try only merging the m203_root_joint or weapon_root bones.

Question when Trying to bonemerge the m203 the tube goes off into the distance and well ♥♥♥♥♥ off is there anyway to fix this? Or was I doing it wrong?

Because the cases are shorter and the bolt travels a shorter distance. The regular deflector won't work, so they just used a slickside upper and added a brass deflector onto the ejection port door area.

There's no M4A1 in this pack.

M16 is the United States military designation for the rifle, and AR-15 is the designer's (Armalite) name for the rifle.

I'd count anything with a fixed carry handle as 'retro', as opposed to 'modern' AR15s which are usually covered in rails and generally hideous.

The earliest rifle in this pack (The 604) was introduced in the mid 1960s, and the most modern rifle in the pack is probably the M727, which was later called the M4 and then developed into the M4A1 when they added a detachable carry handle.
