Either these guns are the original versions or they're the platinum versions.

why are the weapons flat shaded?

They dont have shaders, and the texture is gray, not black like in the game.

Looks like they have no smoothing groups, no normal maps and no real attention paid to getting the materials to look nice beyond throwing a basetexture on.
