I would love to use it but everytime i try to add me through the console via rcon it says it couldnt connect to the server (other commands work fine) am i doing something wrong?

Let me clear something up for a few people thinking that this is a JOB whitelist thing; it's not. It is for making it so that only certain people can join your server that have been whitelisted. So, if your server is in development and you only want certain people to join, this is what you can use as an alternative to a password.

Passwording the server requires you to tell everyone you want to join said password. Aslongside that if you ever wanted to change the password so someone would stop joining, it'd require that you tell everyone the new password.

Also it stops people from telling other people the password and joining.

It's a server whitelist, i.e. allows you to only allow specific people to join.

I don't have this version of the addon anymore. I started remaking it on github a few months ago, though I never finished. Just download a gma extractor

GMA files aren't automatically loaded, you have to be subscribed to them for them to load. For dedicated servers this process is a bit different, and as such requires a workshop collection. I suggest looking at this [wiki.garrysmod.com]

It doesn't seem to work in a dedicated server. I subscribed on my private account and I copied the gma file in the addons folder of the server. I use the darkRP mode. Did I do something wrong?

Unsubscribe from the addon? Next update I'll add a console command to turn it off, though I haven't had a computer for a few weeks so that may take awhile.
