New version
and Alderaan or just a astoriod belt
I got a message recently from someone who wants to carry this on, and I say now what I said then, full permission for anyone; I just ask for a 'founder' and a 'developer' credit. I will help you out wherever I can and will answer any questions you have. I just want to see this get done!
I can make a github project for this if that's what people want me to do. Then anyone can submit changes and it would be a community effort with everyone making updates that get verified and implemented into it here.
I think that would be the best way to do it. Anyone interested, or that has thoughts, suggestions, or whatever, feel free to send me a message. It's good to see that people still care about this.
Final Note: Thank you so much to everyone that stuck with this through my long period of absence. I'm looking forward to seeing some new progress.

I'm having a problem running this map on a dedicated server when I try to add mods.
I can run it vanilla just fine, no problem But when I add mods (specifically to use the Tie Fighter Collection 'mod' ships), it just loads all the mods, but on a blank map. I have tried pasting them into the dedicated servers mod tab. I have tried editing with Notepad++ the Sandbox.sbc file and cutting/pasting (properly) the modItems needed. Unsure why the server dumps the planets when I edit the sandbox file, anyone have any ideas?.
When it loads the empty world, it does load all the mods, so again, I'm 99.9% sure it's not a formatting issue/error.
and follow that gps marker to the planet

It's a good job otherwise.
i dont care which one
or if you put all of em in
but just do it
I did some poking around and found that I could manually go into the "sandbox.sbc" file for a saved game and add the two lines that tell the game that the save file should have randomly occuring asteroids and abandoned ships. After a quick test, it seems to work perfectly well with no noticeable issues.
I'm actually curious as to if I can do the same thing for turning cargo ships on in a particular saved game.. but for that I think I might just wait for the developers to add that one fix that a modder submitted to them recently.
Sadly, that breaks this mod for me; having so many planets to visit and build on is amazing, but one of the big draws to this game for me is being able to find those random things. Interesting-looking asteroids, pirate stations, abandoned ships I've never seen before..
If the planets from this mod could be integrated into an infinite-random map somehow, I would jump on it in a heartbeat. Still, absolutely amazing work, OP.
