VIII AD or IX AD means - 700-800 AD which is Age of Charlemagne era

I mean tear-drop shape shilds (circular ) were not in use in VIII or IX AD,they were invented in X AD,so during Age of Charlemagne Byzantines used only oval shilds like late romans,second it is important to remove Slavic Orthodox Cross from Byzantine shilds.They are not relevant to that era and the Greek church.

I mean circular shields (tear -drop shape) were used from X AD but in VIII AD or IX AD-that is Age of Charlemagne byzantines used oval (round) shields only ,just the same like late romans, second it is very important to remove from grinding(shilds ) of the Byzantines Slavic Orthodox crosses that have no reference to that era and the Greeks they did not used it.
