Hey, so uh apparently this mod previously had a custom voice line for shephard for when he enters the chamber from shephard's mind, if you feel like it i kinda want a version of this addon with this, lol. You could make it either a separate addon or upload it to a mod website if you dont want two of the same addon up...I understand if you don't want to, I just want this voiceline back : )

Hi. It would be possible for me to do that. Unfortunately, at the moment, I am taking a break from modding Source engine games, Black Mesa specifically. I am feeling quite burnt out due to excessive amount of work I am putting into these maps. So it is unlikely that I will be doing it in the near future.

Wouldn't it be possible for you to ask permission or to sugest this idea to them?

Unfortunately, I do not own that mod, so I cannot do that.

I hope that HECU Collective & Crowbar Collective starts a partnership with each other to make Opposing Force & Decay Remakes for Black Mesa, and when they get developed, this mod should be updated to match the same level design

This mod right here is one of the best mods on the workshop. It finally recognizes, acknowledges and corrects something that Black Mesa didn't have. This mod finally adds in one of the climaxes of the game, where 2 of the protagonists stand in the same room with eachother for just a small, tiny moment. Absolutely beautiful. 10/10 mod.

And for some reason this mod worked a lot for me. And now, It doesn't. It may have something to do with the lambda core music I downloaded. But I need help.

Well, maybe they banded together to kick Gordon’s butt.

Shepherd completely ignores aliens instead shooting at me, aliens completely ignore Shepherd as well. Kind of a bummer.

This addon used to add the chumtoad, too. You could shoot the vent and the chumtoad would pop out. The vent still remains, and it is a reminiscence of that time. But it was removed, since I believed using HLS asset wasn't appropriate at the time.

If only they at least put the Chumtoad in the vent during this chapter.
Honestly I don't know why this isn't already a feature of the vanilla game.
Considering the White House broadcast in Surface Tension, I don't think Crowbar actually played OpFor at all.

That was a decision made deliberately, so the players can see Adrian more easily and maybe even interact with him. I figured people downloading this addon are doing to because they want to see him in action, so he should be dropped into the game faster.

I was a BIT far away (opposite side of the room, running around killing Controllers) but before i jumped, i zoomed in and saw Shepherd running around with shotgun looking at me. :)

Also if you have a mod that changes what the HECU look like and such, it does affect him too.

i have a theory: race x is a figment of shephard's mind, although the gene worm may be very much real, but if race x was a figment of shephard's mind tho, then he wouldnt get that biological weapon he got from a race x creature

TBF, at that point in the game, Shephard knows that Freeman is, or at least WAS, a high priority target. So I'd imagine that he's probably still going to at least TRY to take a few potshots at him, given the chance.

You people want him to be friendly, and I bet when you played the Opossing Force years ago, the first thing you did was shoot Gordon in the back at that level...Canonically, it doesn't make sense. Speaking of which ... as much as HL: OP was great, its canonical status is very controversial. The guys at Gearbox came up with too many new things there - the Race X for example. The current consensus is that this is canonical only because Valve hasn't said it outright it isn't. However, there is no other mention of the events of this expansion pack in any subsequent game in the Half Life universe.
