@Olympian I was trying not to buy CK3 to save my productivity but I might have to so I can port the mod over!

Can you explain the function and utility of CK2_Loadscreen.DPF?

I'm creating another loading screen mod (one for Vikings, so no competition) and was wondering if this file would give me greater control over the universe.

Nvm, think it's due to some other mod (can't figure out which one though), but basically, the portions of the charecter are no longer actually rooted in the circle area and bits and peices on other pictures are added for the background as well.

I think it's causing issues with the portraits.

@Lewa @GameGabster Thanks for pointing this out, I have fixed the problem and instructions to relocate your savegames from the errant folder are in the description above. The files are still unchanged, I just unwittingly added a line to the .mod file that told the game to put the mod's files in it's own directory.

As Lewa pointed out, your mod is creating a subfolder in the ck2 files which is segregating savegames. Might be ironman incompatible. Is it possible to fix?

Is there any way to have your mod not segregate savegames into its own subfolder?

I do hope the mod is updated once the next expansion is added. it appears that the latest update has created an error with the starting era images and it appears that one of the stock loading images have either overwitten or part of the rotation.

Hello, I am a big fan of Victor Vasnetsov's work also! Have you considered adding his piece "A Knight at the Crossroads"? If you are thinking about adding art from other sources I'd like to encourage you to look towards the direction of Jean Paul Laurens and the rest of the French Academic Painters. Works like "The Excommunication of Robert the Pious" and "The Education of the Children of Clovis" I think really fit well the themes of political deceit and betrayal found in CK2. "The Reply of the Zapporozhian Cossacks" by Ilya Repin is also striking.

In 2.8.3 there seems to be a very minor issue in the "Choose Your Starting Era" screen when starting a new game.

@Olympian Same. It is showing the art for Monks and Mystics, but just for the first half of loading when starting up the game.

Too 19th/early 20th century romantic for me.
Would prefer paintings made in earlier periods.
