Hi is this an historical reskin ? I was annoyed by how CA simply recycled Celtic heads and gived longobard germanic people a celtic look.

and i dont see the problem with the mace the faction leader has. It fits because the iconic weapon they have in the game is clubs.

first, im satisfied because it fits the research me and a pal of mine have gained. Second, i have already put this mod in the all in one pack. Would just take too much work. Too lazy for such.

Play with youe reskin mods on all other AoC factions, but not a big fan of the Lombards. But in all fairness its easy to see how you've tried to differentiate them from the other factions, but I dont think its worked, possibly more of a Byzantine Influence, alonside the Eastern, rather than German/Eastern.

Just personal thoughts, like I said big fan of your other reskins.

1st. I was hoping to see more "Kite Shields" 2nd. I cracked up when i saw the King's hair... and mace.. I mean.. a mace.. 3rd. The Vanilla Lombards look better. You did good with the Franks though.. but these units look cheap af and the king looks like some weird dude from the forests of germany not a claimant of the Throne of Italy.

We could alter your skin so we give him a sword :P add me on steam and we can discuss.

Most prefer capes on high end units.

Kind of a dumb request. But any chance the capes on those Gastald Swordsmen can be taken out? Idk why but I never found a love for capes and despise capes. Probably cause I think capes (usually being bland) cover the back and the nice art there is to the back. Anywho, if everyone else prefers the capes, then nevermind.

Hey guys, i'm no expert on the Lombards or anything but from a bit of reading and some pictures it seems like the Lombards were influenced to some extent by the Byzantines and the Avars. However since they were in conflict with Charlemagne and the Franks during this time period it would make sense that they would have some infuence from them as well. I personally like some of the Eastern influence on the units but it's up to you of course Guv :P

I agree that it does look a bit eastern, and especially with them having similar colors as the Avars it does make them a bit similar.

Any chance you could do one for the Theme of Sicily?

Another nice reskin! But.. Those lombards are a lil bit.. more eastern style in this mod? :P I kinda hoped for kite shields and more of a frankish-style army :D
